This infrastructure permanently modernized transportation, eased long-distance travel, and connected rural communities to urban commercial hubs in Ghana.

Colonization often fostered a "colonial mentality," where public or government work was viewed as working for the colonial masters rather than for oneself or one's nation.

This led to negative attitudes like apathy, unpunctuality, and poor maintenance culture.
